How can you offer such prices?
Thanks to our diamond cutting facility in India all our diamonds are imported at mining cost, giving us an edge over our competitors. All the jewellery we use is manufactured in-house hence keeping costs to a minimum. Not having a retail presence allows us to keep overheads as low as possible. Furthermore, to manage our online operations we have developed an in-house fulfillment system instead of outsourcing the same which has led to substantial savings.
How long have you been in business?
Our partner companies have been in the diamond business since 1961.Thanks to our vertical integration with DTC sightholders we open our factory in Surat – India in 1987. In the last 20 years we have been consistently improving the art of diamond cutting and investing heavily in the latest technology and machinery.
Do you have a retail outlet?
No. Our main business is selling to other businesses where the turnover per sale is much larger. To continue being able to sell to the end consumer at the lowest prices in the market we have to keep our overheads as low as possible. From our experience we believe that our customers will benefit from the huge savings.
What happens if I don't like the item?

How do your prices compare to other internet retailers?
Our prices are on average 40-50% lower than those of web retailers. As you are purchasing directly from the main source we are able to pass the savings directly to you by eliminating all the traditional layers of wholesalers and retailers in the supply chain. Some of our items are priced at up to 90% off suggested retail prices.
Are all your ring styles listed online?
As direct manufacturers, we have many items not available online. If you can’t find a particular style, please contact us and we'll help locate the exact style and e-mail a picture for your review.
Do you make custom jewellery?
Yes. We have a team of skilled professionals which specialize in creating made-to-order pieces. We can create the piece of your dreams from a single image in a record time of 5 days. Do you have the same style rings in different sizes?
We stock most of our rings in a variety of sizes. If for any reason your ring size is not available we'll gladly resize it for you.
How do I establish the diamond ring size I require?
If the purchase is a surprise, simply take the internal diameter of one of her existing rings and let one of our consultants know. If you are unable to do this we will send you the ring in a standard size. Once you have given the ring and found the correct size – you can usually do this at your local jeweller, you can return it to us and we will resize it for you, free of charge.
I would like to engrave a message on the ring, can you do this?
Yes. We can engrave the message that you wish. Please contact one of our consultants for pricing and details.
What kind of payments do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards including VISA, Master Card, American Express, Switch, Electron and Delta. We also accept payment in the form of bank transfer, banker’s draft, postal orders, cash and cheques.
Is it safe to buy online?
Yes. Diamond Manufacturers will never pass, transfer nor sell any of your information to any third party companies. Also for your security and peace of mind we do not keep any record of your credit card details and security information. To process online payments we use Protx, the largest payment service provider in the UK, a secure payment gateway which has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI).
Can I order over the telephone?
Yes. At Diamond Manufacturers we prefer to speak to our customers. We appreciate this is generally an emotional purchase and want to of it by ensuring you are provided with expert advice and knowledgeable support.
Do all products carry a hallmark?
Yes. All our products have been hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
Does my piece of jewellery come with a valuation?
Yes. Every piece of jewellery is supplied with a valuation for insurance purposes.
How do I know if your diamonds are conflict-free or not?
All our diamonds are conflict-free and come with written guarantees. As diamond cutters and dealing directly with the DTC we are involved in their code of best practices and the whole supply chain from mine to the end consumer hence controlling the quality assurance of the product from start to finish.
Are your diamonds enhanced?
No. All our diamonds are natural and have never been enhanced in any way.
I have been hearing lately about synthetic diamonds, what are these?
Synthetic diamonds are man-made diamonds or lab-created diamonds with the exact same properties as a natural diamond. There are 2 types of lab-grown diamonds – High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). The HPHT process mimics the geological conditions that create natural diamonds. It grows diamond layers on a diamond seed by subjecting carbon to high pressure and high temperature. The CVD method is a revolutionary process that is the exact opposite of HPHT. Instead of pressuring carbon into diamond, the carbon is freed to become pure diamond. Moderate heat is applied to a carbon cloud in a vacuum chamber causing diamond atoms to rain onto and grow a diamond seed. Synthetic diamonds are mainly used for industrial purposes. Although they appear very similar to natural diamonds these must not be confused as synthetic diamonds are less valuable both emotionally and economically. Lab-grown diamonds are not to be confused with simulants (diamond imitations) such as Cubic Zirconia and Moissanite.

How do you ship your orders?
All orders within the UK are shipped fully insured with Royal Mail’s Special Next Day Delivery on a complimentary basis. International orders can be shipped via Royal Mail or with FedEx.
Can you ship to an address other than my billing address?
We offer the service of shipping directly to the gift recipient, however if paying by credit card the billing and shipping addresses must match.
How is my jewellery packaged?
Every product comes gift wrapped with a beautiful presentation box. We can also add a message in a gift card for your love one at no extra cost, please email service@diamondmanufacturers.co.uk to discuss your packaging requirements.
What is your refund policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days from receipt of your purchase. Some items such as custom made pieces are exempt from the returns policy. For more information view our Terms and Conditions.
When will I receive my order?
Diamond Manufacturers makes every effort to get your order to you as soon as possible, and will endeavour to ensure you receive it on or before the estimated delivery date.
Are you open on weekends?
To ensure our customers receive the best possible service we are open on weekends from 10am to 5pm.
How long does it take for someone to get back to me when I submit a request?
If you submit your request during office hours (8am-7pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-5pm on weekends) you should receive a response within an hour from your request. If you submit your request outside office hours, one of our diamond and jewellery consultants will get in touch with you as early as possible the next morning.
Do your prices include VAT?
No. All the prices on the website are excluding VAT. The VAT amount is calculated based on the shipping destination of your order. Please note that this charge will appear in the shopping bag after you have entered a shipping destination.
Are there any hidden charges?
All the prices you see are the final prices excluding VAT when applicable. There are no extras such as shipping, insurance, resizing and gift-wrapping, with the exception of shipping and insurance for International orders.
