What is the difference between conflict diamonds and conflict free diamonds?

At Diamond Manufacturers we deal directly with sightholders of the DTC (The Diamond Trading Company), the world’s largest diamond miner. We only deal with our associated companies whom, like us, proudly adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process, an international system that polices the trade of diamonds to ensure they are from sources free of conflict. All Diamond Manufacturers diamonds are guaranteed to be conflict free. If one of our associates was ever found to be in violation of that process, we would immediately stop working with them. We will continue to support and promote any process that works towards maintaining the human rights and best working conditions in the diamond trade. Diamond Manufacturers is a global strong conflict-free supporter and has a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds.

The Diamond Manufacturers Conflict Free Diamond Guarantee

At Diamond Manufacturers every diamond we sell is guaranteed to be conflict free. We can provide this guarantee because:

• We deal directly with sightholders of the DTC (The Diamond Trading Company), the world’s largest diamond miner. We only deal with our associated companies whom, like us, proudly adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process, an international system that polices the trade of diamonds to ensure they are from sources free of conflict.
• We obtain written guarantees on the diamonds that we purchase from our suppliers. We only purchase diamonds from sources which are internationally recognised as professional members of the diamond trade. If one of our associates was ever found to be in violation of that process, we would immediately stop working with them.
• We know where our diamonds are mined and the conditions in place at those mines. Thanks to our supply chain vertical integration we can track our diamonds from mine to market to ensure that they are mined, cut, and polished in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
